“The Strathfeild Library”, Sydney

Final year TAFE submission, using ArchiCAD for the documentation and Artlantis for 3D rendering. Designed by Brewster Hjorth Architects it was shortlisted for RIRA 2004 awards in the Public Buildings Caterogy MBA and MBA Public Building Awards for ESD 2004.

The Queen Victoria Building, Sydney

The QVB as its known was opened in 1898. Designed by George mc Rae, it replaced the original Sydney Markets and it was named to honour the monarch's Diamond Jubilee. It fills an entire city block George, Market, Druitt and York Streets. There is a letter kept there from Queen Elizabeth II to the citizens of Sydney and will be read by the Mayor of Sydney in 2085, outside the QVB

This photo was taken on my last visit to New Zealand I was visiting my brother who resides there. It was taken during Snow season early July it looks so peaceful even though the Sun was shining it was freezing just as well the little pub behind was selling Mulled Wine.
